Inn At The Commons
If you're looking for a great place to stay while visiting the majestic town of Medford, Oregon, I hit the jackpot!!
Inn at the Commons, a full service convention hotel, includes 9,000 square feet of flexible space. The Grand Ballroom, can accommodate up to 800 people. Ideal for conferences, social functions, wedding receptions, fundraisers, etc. It's located in downtown Medford, in Southern Oregon's scenic Rogue Valley, in a quiet location, close to Crater Lake National Park, the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival in the charming town of Ashland, and the infamous Harry and David's, where you can take a tour of the facility, while staying in Medford.
Inn at the Commons, has everything you will need while staying and visiting in Medford. Of course, I want to start with the service which was exceptional. From getting the key to my room, or gathering five minutes worth of information about the town, I found the front desk help to be professional and warm. So, while I'm checking in, I look over to my left, and there's a huge wine, champagne and refreshment section. You won't need to run to the grocery store to get your refreshments for your cozy night in your room. There are 118 spacious guest rooms and suites with patios. Very reasonably priced. My room was immaculate. Lovely decor, duvet covers, with a large microwave, a mini-refrigerator, flat screen TV, a coffee maker with 2 packs of fresh coffee. Some of the other amenities are: business center, same day laundry valet service, Grab n'Go snack and beverage shop, seasonal heated outdoor pool, catering services.
They also have a great restaurant, called Larks, that embraces 'farm to table comfort food', by creating innovative cuisine from scratch. Lark's serves lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch, plus happy hour Monday thru Friday, 4:30p.m.-6p.m. Lark's menu has extensive selections, which are reasonably priced, and exquisite in taste!
In the morning, while having my coffee at the delicious breakfast buffet, I met with the Sales Manager, Maggie Groves to see if I could get a tour of the Conference rooms. Maggie was so enthusiastic about her property and the town of Medford, of which she's been a local all of her life. From the white grand piano in Lark's lounge, to the top-notch complimentary breakfast buffet, and then the elegantly designed conference rooms, I was more than impressed with Inn at the Commons! Visit their website or call for hotel reservations at (866) 779-5811.
After having coffee with Maggie, she proceeded to point me in the right direction to all of her favorite spots and sites in the town of Medford. My first stop will be the Chamber of Commerce.
